Priorities and Policies
Our work is based on the Quaker testimonies of peace and nonviolence, equality and social justice, integrity, simplicity and community. You may be interested in this booklet on the testimonies by the American Friends Service Committee.
These testimonies are the basis of the policies developed by the FCLCA General Committee that guide our work. FCLCA's policy statements are attached below as PDF documents.
In this current 2023-24 legislative session, we will focus on economic justice, criminal justice reform, immigrant rights, and environmental issues. These areas are addressed through the state budget process and through bills that work their way through the legislative process from January through September.
